Love Letters In the Wall

Unconditional love that is always giving and impossible to take or be a taker.

It devotes total commitment to seek your highest best no matter how anyone may respond. This form of love is totally selfless and does not change whether the love given is returned or not.

LOVE LETTERS IN THE WALL: AGAPÉ EDITION is Demetra’s debut book of poetry.

Love is much more than just feelings and emotions, its actions and behaviors we do. In that regard, Agapé love is about the values we embrace as a way of life.  This form of love is totally selfless and does not change whether the love given is returned or not. These are poems mixed in with “love letters” - these are letters we keep in our internal monologue or hidden away, letters we write out hoping to find an answer. Letters of hope, letters to loved ones and letters of confusion with a modern twist of text messages sent and exchanged.

It's about heartbreak, love, growth, anger - it's the journey that we go through to desperately find that happily ever after. The journey of healing, self discovery - anger, the steps we take to find who we are without needing to be complete without another person - its about finding someone who compliments you.

Love Letters In The Wall gives a whole new perspective on what this word “love” really is.  A intimate look at Demetra’s personal journey as she opens up her journal for the world to read, you will soon have a piece of her heart in your hands.

Her empowering Love Letter To Men, published by the Huffington Post is just one of the raw pieces that will be included in her book.

Poetry is my art, writing is how I connect, my life, the world around me is my inspirations.

I want my words to HEAL, HELP, INSPIRE – I want to leave the world a little kinder, a little brighter, a little more beautiful than how I found it.

Here you can escape from all your troubles and find yourself lying in a sunflower field, on a beautiful beach, wherever your happy place is. To write means more than putting pretty words on a page; the act of writing is to share a part of your soul with the world.

I write because it’s my passion, and for the euphoric feeling I get when I read the words I have orchestrated.
